How to Avoid Bad Breath in the Morning

Morning breath affects virtually everyone. While it is reckoned that up to a third of the population gets chronic bad breath problems during the day, the appalling truth about morning breath is that almost nobody escapes its grasp, with it inflicting almost the entire world.

One funny fact about morning breath is that it actually has very little to do with the time of day! Instead, your bad breath in the morning comes as a direct result of you sleeping, so perhaps the term “wake up breath” would be more appropriate than the term “morning breath.”

What happens is that while you sleep, some of your body’s functions are retarded (slowed down). This is done as a protective measure. One of the things that is slowed down while you sleep is your salivation. Can you imagine what would happen if you salivated at your usual pace while you were sleeping? It would cause problems, to be sure. The thing is, saliva is a big part of what helps keep our mouth clean and fresh.

This will do a good job at creating an inhabitable environment for the evil bacteria that cause bad breath. There are also a few commercial products that will get the job done.

Most people seem to think that morning breath is just a “normal part of life” and that you should just “deal with it.” But the cure is fast, simple, and works in 30 seconds a day. That makes morning breath not worth living with, in my opinion.
